Thank you for taking time to read my new post.....Enjoy your day Crafters!!!!
For this summer i wanted to get for myself a swimsuit that would be a bit less revealing than a 2 piece bikini...for my own personal reasons. So i checked online stores but the prices are just too much, in the stores, same story. I checked in Victoria's Secret site and saw the same one i wanted to get and loved it!! But i was like..."There is no way i'm paying that much for this monokini!" So i grabbed a bikini bottom of my swimsuit that fit and a long sleeve shirt and got started...i didn't really draft a pattern for the rest of the monokini, so here is the finish product:
I am very happy with the finish product, although i had to add black elastic lace for more coverage for my "lemons" LOL....i think anyone with a little bit of sewing experience can make this....its a bit time consuming if you have never done something like this and you have a little one like a do, this took me a whole day to finish it, but so worth it!!!
Here is a quick video of the process of making the monokini =)
Sorry i dont explain anything i was so exited that i forgot all of that, remember this wasn't supposed to be a tutorial until now =) enjoy it
This post is only going to be a sneak peek of my latest swim suit I've done....i want to spend more time with my family this weekend so that's why i'm not going to post the video and tutorial yet!!!! So here is what got me inspired....
I was looking for a swim suit that would cover my bellybutton area, and found this sexy thing...i'm talking about the monokini lol but she's hot too!
For this spring/summer i want to own/make one of this. The tutorial in this site is for little girls but still you can pick up her technique i mean this rompers are very cute even for a women, teenager and babies too =)
Uhhh!!! now this interesting, this is a only for girls project, unless otherwise =)....no but seriously this is a good idea i tend to misplace some of my bra straps and this is good 4 summer i also kinda hate wearing a top that shows my bra strap a lot so this is a great solutions.
I was checking out the things (by that i mean all the clothes i have for my sewing projects) and i have like 2 or 3 tops like this i love lace and i decided to get them and save them...1st they are not cute as tops, so i was thinking of doing this same thing with them. when i finish my projects i will post pics and maybe my own tutorial!!!!
Me, myself, muah!!! lol sorry for that!! I personally don't own rings..maybe like 1 or 2, but after checking this tutorial out i think i might get all the once i see around town...anyways this is the easiest tutorial for jewelry, organizer, also i thought this could be turned into a drawer and make your own jewelry box!!!!! ;)
