-Scissors
-Hot glue, or any glue
-Beads, buttons, etc.

Jean skirt! Part 1
I was looking at my closet the other day and i got bored of seeing a bunch of jeans i wasn't looking forward 2 wear... then i got an idea...i didn't have any skirts 2 wear this winter so i remembered i had tried once 2 sew by hand a similar project but it wasn't what i wanted it 2 be, this time i owned i working sewing machine!!! I got all exited of just the thought of it so i got all my stuff ready for sewing and finish that same day...i say this 'cuz things with me take WAY longer...LOL! there's always something going on, like my son needs me, work, cooking, etc.
So now i'm just going 2 walk u threw my project...since i was 2 exited and forgot 2 take pics threw out the project!!
Materials you'll be needing are:
-Pair of jean
-Notions: thread, needle, sewing machine, etc.
-Patients (lol)
Price: FREE!!!!!
Time:1 hr ( 4 me was like 12 hrs lol)
1. Find the jean you want to cut, it doesn't matter which one. measure the length that you want your skirt 2 be...how short i mean. and mark it!
2.Now cut the seams, front and back...the front has 2 be cut up to the crotch part right where the zipper is, and cut the back, leaving about 5"inches from the waistband.
3.Now is time 2 pin and get ready for sewing...it can be sewn by hand i've done it but not so easy!!
4.When you pin it should look like tin the pic above, but you can do it any way you like. either in the front or back, or both, there will be a space of no fabric, you can cut a square or watever piece you need from the legs you have left and pin it. OR be more creative and add another fabric u like and pin it.
5.Now time 2 sew!!! you can use any type of stitch u prefer i used zigzag 1st then secured the fabric with straight, i also used 2 different colors or thread inside is white, outside black.
6.Happy Sewing!!! & hope you understood my tutorial =)!
U can also check out this same tutorial (mine from other site) it has some pictures! http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/jean-skirt-6

Soda Tab Bracelet
Materials:
-Lots of soda tabs
-Ribbons, shoe lace, strings
-Scissors
-Glue (optional)
1.Gather all the materials.
2.Now get your string, ribbon, or w.e. it is that you will use to thread threw the soda tabs for this project, and cut to the length you want. I didn't measure at all =)... but it seem like 1' or a bit more.
3.After cutting the length you desire line them up and tie a knot.
Like so
4.Get 2 soda tab and you will see that it has 2 different sides, a rough and a flat surface, now the rough surfaces should be facing each other for this, like so:
5.Now thread one, the flat surface should be up now and grab the ribbon and thread it from the top...from the flat part, on both holes.
6.Now get the other tab and do the same but this tab should be facing the opposite of the 1st tab.
7.You will be doing step 5 & 6 until you get the desire length of this bracelet.
8.Now when you get to the desired length you will tie a know like in the beginning.
*For this side i sewed it cuz i like it very secure, i left in between the know about 1/2"
9.For the beginning of the bracelet i added a soda tab so i can use it as a "lock" and put it threw the end, like so:
Now show your project off!!! Happy Crafting!
